Pediatric

Miami Beach Community Health Center offers a wide variety of Pediatric Services. It has a dedicated team of Pediatricians who speak both English and Spanish serving the community of Miami Beach.  Some of the many services offered by our Department of  Pediatrics include:

• Well child visits from birth until 18 years of age following patient’s growth and development and educating parents about their child’s progress.
  
  
• Giving age-appropriate immunizations to all patients



• Performing school and sports physicals required by the State of Florida.



• Performing pre-operative physicals for patients going through surgeries and procedures.



• Providing all required screening such as vision, hearing, dental, speech, anemia, lead, cholesterol, glucose, etc.



• Our Pediatricians are well trained from prestigious institutes in the USA and provide treatment on all Pediatric conditions and if needed give referral to a wide variety of subspecialties.



• Our Pediatricians also see the babies in the hospitals after birth where mothers get a chance to bond with them and ask questions about the newborn babies.



• Our Doctors are available after hours to provide consultation to clinic patients on urgent matters to the parents.



• Services are also available for patients with behavioral problems such as ADHD to provide them counseling and therapy.



• We also provide on site full Dental services to patients for routine check ups and problems.



• There is also an on site laboratory for all the routine tests. 



• Pediatric Department provides care to the adolescent patients and students at Miami Beach Senior High School.



• We also have a special program for obese and overweight kids who are provided nutritional counseling for weight loss.



• FREE books are provided at every well child visit as part of the Reach Out and Read program to help them in the learning process.
