Answer incoming calls and transfer to appropriate staff/department or, if unavailable, take a message.
Greet patient/staff/visitor, determine needs, and assist with the requests or direct to appropriate supervisor for resolution.
Cover CEO's phone in absence of the assistant.
Responsible for keeping abreast of and in compliance with all HIPAA regulations and requirements.
High School graduate or equivalent (GED)
Previous clerical and /or receptionist experience required.
Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred.
Patient Care Assistant
Nursing
This position requires a person with training and/or experience in an outpatient clinic or office setting to support the physicians and/or mid-level practitioners in delivering primary care services to patients in an ambulatory care setting. This position is intended to enhance the efficiency with which the practitioner can see the patients. The Medical Assistant is expected to anticipate the needs of the patient and assure the patient and environment is in readiness for the provider.
High School Diploma.
Diploma from an accredited technical Medical Assistant Institution (Certification requried).
Previous experience working in outpatient or office setting.
CPR Certification.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Pediatrician or Pediatric Physician Asst. or an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Pediatrics
Medical - Pediatrics
To provide primary health care services to patients of Miami Beach Community Health Center, Inc.
Must have all licenses.

Insurance Denial Specialist
Finance
This position requires the Insurance Denial Specialist to be responsible for all follow-up activities related to insurance verification, provider enrollment and denial issues; as well as the education and training of all front desk personnel in the areas of patient and insurance registration, procedure entry, and account management.
Minium of two-year (A.S.) college degree/preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of previous insurance billing and collections experience.
Minimum 2 years of supervision/management experience preferred.
Extensive knowledge and training of diagnosis (ICD-9) and procedure coding (CPT).
Minimum of 2 years experience in billing/collection computer systems.
Proficiency in Excel, MS Word or Word Perfect software.
Ability to type 35 wpm.
Bilingual, English/Spanish, preferred.
